These men trod on the moon! What exciting times they were! Using a Saturn V rocket, 36 stories tall, a Command Service Module, and a Lunar Lander, these men went to the moon and “safely” returned home!!! Not one of these men did it alone; they stood on the shoulders of men and women who had hope, vision, and intellectual talent. These brave men risked their lives and the future of their families. They loved their country and were men of substance. They loved their fellow man and put their lives in the hands of people who had the same beliefs and aspirations as they did. These men were lifted up by machines, comrades, friends and family. Tonight before you say your prayers; remember those who lifted you up. Remember your Christian friends and brothers and sisters.

There was another who was lifted up. No rockets, engineers or space suits were needed. When your time comes you won’t need these things either. However, you will need your faith and belief in Christ. Always appreciate THE GRAVITY OF YOUR SITUATION.

Jesus said, “But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.” John 12:32
